In keeping with our Lilac theme, our vendors are mainly horticultural, botanical, natural and garden-related. There is no source of potable water on the trail, nor are there electrical outlets anywhere. Vehicles are not permitted on the trail, and the use of generators is limited. At this time, we can’t accommodate products from Direct Selling or Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) companies. If you are interested in becoming a vendor at the next Festival, email us: WarkworthLilacFestival@gmail.com and provide a brief description of your products, a link to your social media or website, or photos of your products that will help us to understand what you sell. We try to include local vendors and artisans as much as possible, while trying to maintain a diverse vendor “market”.
Entry
I made a donation. How does the money get used?
Our festival is 100% organized and led by volunteers from among the community. Entry to the Lilac Festival is by donation. Your donations are used to help us with the upkeep of the 83 different varieties of Lilacs that are planted along the Millennium Trail. We are proud of our Lilacs and just like to show them off!
Can I leave the festival grounds and come back in?
Yes, we encourage you to visit the village of Warkworth while you are here.
Volunteering
How can I volunteer at the Lilac Festival?
The Warkworth Lilac Festival is always in need of volunteers for all kinds of jobs. Preparation and planning start long before the actual festival date, so there is still time to help. Whether you like to be at the centre of things, or you prefer to work in the background, we can use your help. Join us in making our festival a fun weekend celebration of the lilacs.
The next festival is on Saturday May 30 – Sunday May 31 2026.
